Concert Series

The W.A.T.E.R.S. Corporation, devoted to the health and beauty of the regional Colorado River, will be holding its eighth annual river clean up at 9:00 AM, Saturday, August 13th at various points on the river.  Both boaters and walkers are needed for this event.   

Due to this year's massive runoff and the debris left in and along the river, we need volunteers, gloves, trash sticks, gas cards and people who have four-wheelers and tractors to haul garbage to the dumpsters .   Two major corporations have stepped up to help for the event but we are still in need of more donations. 

If you'd like to help, we will be cleaning up the river from Palisade to the James M. Robb Colorado River State Park in Fruita.  Volunteering cost nothing and there will be a free barbeque after the cleanup.  We hope to see you there!
